My house was quiet yesterday so I had a chance to do all the things that make me happy...
I worked on my Christmas quilt...
I baked some yummy pumpkin muffins with homemade cream cheese frosting using this Paula Deen recipe...
I cleaned my craft room...
and I pulled out my paper goodies to make a couple of thank-you cards.
I really like to use Inspirational challenges to get me started so I thought I'd give this one by Kirsty and the talented girls at City Crafter a whirl...
I had almost forgotten how much I love creating with paper. I've been hoarding this beautiful orange and pink paper from Daisy D's for a while now. I added a gathered piece of fabric and ribbon from my stash and made a couple of yummy layered flowers just for fun.
These thank-you cards will be in the mail tomorrow but I still need a couple more so I'm searching for just the right challenge to get my creative juices going once again.
Don't you love creating with color no matter what medium you choose?
There is something about it that brings me such joy.
Wishing you a colorful day,
Patty

Good to see your paper creation, lovely, and I am glad that you get to do some happy things, thanks for playing along with us at CCCB!
By the way, how do you quilt, and craft, and bake in one day? I have a long list of thing I want to bake, but when I am done with craft, I have no energy to do anything else. LOL!

You are SO talented at making cards. I have card envy! lol I have a cricut expression on the way, so I'm hoping to have some great fun creating some more cards next week...got a feeling it might not happen though, with school, a new grandbaby coming, Thanksgiving and putting up xmas decorations for my mom. (she broke her ankle) :( poor thing!
Anyway, I love your cards!
Have a great Thanksgiving next week!
Hugs!
