garden call...

I know I’ve been MIA from here quite a bit lately.  We are working on some much neglected areas of our house and garden and as hard as I’ve tried, I haven’t been able to carve out any time in my craft studio, so there really hasn’t been much share. 

 
 

I’m hoping to get back in the swing once summer roles around and it becomes too hot to go play in the garden.  For now, I really can’t justify the fee to keep this typepad blog open so this will be my last post here.  Once I start crafting again, I will open up a new craft blog and hopefully a little etsy shop.  Thank you for encouraging me in my creative pursuits.  I’ll let you now when the new sewing/crafting site is up and running.  Until then, I’ll be by as often as possible to visit.  Enjoy what’s left of spring…it will be summer before you know it!

I can relate to taking breaks to take care of other things! We've been tackling alot of household tasks as well.

I just purchased a sewing machine and haven't sewn in over 25 years! I am a novice to be sure. I purchased an instructional book called, "Stitch by Stitch." I look forward to getting started - even though at the moment my eyes are crossing and my head is spinning...very overwhelmed! But, I am determined. Although, I may not truly get started until Fall - when my boys go back to school and the temperatures start to drop!

I love seeing your crafts and your garden. You are an inspiration. I hope to be able to find your new blog once you are back to crafting!!!
