I can’t believe it’s been a week already since we got together for our last cup of coffee…I have some left over birthday cake to share with you today. Sorry, it’s just from a box but I do have some fresh fruit to go with it.
We had family and friends over for Andrew’s 3rd birthday on Sunday.
The weather was perfect and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. I missed seeing a few family members who were not feeling well but I will catch up with them soon, I’m sure.
I just have a few munchkin pictures to share and I’m off to start a few (or ten) loads of laundry. I am embarrassed to say that in my haste to get ready for the party I used my craft studio as a dumping ground for anything and everything that I did not have time to put away properly. I gave strict instructions to my family not to open the door open at any time during the party.
Did they remember? No, not a chance. Oh well, I’m sure I’m not the only with a secret stash everything out of sight room. Right?
My favorite comments from guests are always about the backyard and gardens. It truly is a magical place and I love it when people tell me they feel at peace and would love to lay on a blanket and take a nice long nap.
I’m monopolizing the conversation again, sorry. How was your weekend?
I'm linking up with Tuesday Morning Virtual Coffee...
I enjoyed your birthday pictures and the conversation. We are off to Chino again in the morning, so I have been cooking and packing the motor home. I have two projects to take with me.
Your Andrew is so cute, loved the picture with the little girl that looked like she was going to kiss him...so sweet.

So cute and they grow up way too fast. My boys are 20 now but I remember when they were that age. Brings tears to my eyes.

Oh what a joyful occasion! :-)
Your gardens are magical...all gardens tend to be :) But yours is filled with your love for Our Creation, and that comes across so beautiful.
What joy to have friends and family over...every one looked as if it was the best place to be.
Thank you for sharing...have a blessed day!
By the way, my weekend was wonderful - thank you for asking ;-D

I love munchkin pictures, especially ones taken in magical backyards! Just gorgeous.
And, are those eyelashes for real?
